- Description: Noël-Marie Fletcher is a journalist/photographer and author based in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Geneva Press Club (Switzerland), a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and the author of “My Time in Another World: Experiences as a Foreign Correspondent in China” (2018).
Noël-Marie has an impressive track record as a journalist. She was Acting Berlin Bureau Chief for The Times of London in December 2017 and China Correspondent in Beijing for a New York City financial publication headquartered on Wall Street. She started her newspaper career in San Francisco’s Chinatown and then in Palm Springs before moving to Asia. She has also used her talents, while raising her daughter as a single mother, in strategic communications. Always taking positions with the goal of working to better society, she is proud of her work as a journalist with U.S. Central Command to fight terrorism in the Middle East.
She has lived in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Germany (Nuremberg, Berlin) with a stint in Switzerland. She speaks Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and French and has studied Russian.
